Petunjuk Penggunaan Plug-In MW Add-on Manager!

If you are familiar with MW Addon you know how useful it can be managing your day to day routine of repetitive tasks in Mafia Wars! If not: Read This Post About MW Addon and it's various features! Well if there is a feature that happens to be available through a bookmark-let that you happen to like, but isn't included in MW Addon then this feature is just what you are looking for!

Here are the steps to install a bookmark-let into MW Addon:

note: if you already have the bookmark-let "installed" in your browser just right click and copy the bookmark-let and skip to the 4th step where you can start adding the bookmark-let to the plug-in manager window.

• Go to the bookmark-let site of your choosing such as Spockholm or choose from my list of bookmark-lets I have on my blog (located in the links section at the top of the page) and find a bookmark-let that you are interested in installing (For the purpose of the example I will be showing you how to install Assassin-A-Nator)

•  After it opens the panel at the bottom of the screen it will take you to the area of code that you have chosen to inspect, right click the link relevant to the bookmark-let and click edit attribute. Generally the object will be highlighted blue as is shown below.

• Once the link only is showing up highlighted as pictured below you can hit CTRL-C to copy it to your clipboard. If for some reason it doesn't automatically select the text after hitting edit attributes you can select it by holding down you left click button and drag across the desired text like you normally would to highlight any other kind of text on a web page.

• Now it's time to open up the Plug-In Manager Settings Window. Just open your MW Addon window by moving your mouse of the Green Arrow and Click the Plug-In Manager from the menu.

• Once the Settings window has loaded you can click Add New plugin and Enter a name for the bookmark-let and paste the code you have copied into the window below. Then click save and if that is the only bookmark-let you want you can click the small X in the upper-right hand corner to exit. Otherwise just repeat the previous steps to add more Plug-Ins.

• Now you can load the MW Addon Menu and when you go to Plug-Ins you will see the list of Bookmark-lets you have added and can click whichever one you want to run without having to be Unframed!

•  As you can see I am running Assassin-a-Nator in the normal "Framed" version of Mafia Wars inside facebook.

Mafia Wars Add-On untuk Chrome & Firefox

There is an "Add-On" for Mafia Wars that you can install to chrome and firefox, it has a good majority of the features that the bookmark-lets from spockholm tools and code outpost let you accomplish but there is no need to Un-Frame and they are easily accessible and for the most part work better and are more pleasing to use. It is called "FB MafiaWars Addon" and can be downloaded here. 

Firefox users need to download greasemonkey first and then you can install the addon. (For firefox version 4 or higher I reccomend using Scriptish instead of greasemonkey)

Chrome users need to download the main Addon and then also download an additional plugin that enables numerous new features, if you don't install the plugin it will prompt you to download it when you try to access them.

When it is loading properly it will say FB Mafia Wars Addon and the current version number above Mafia Wars when you load it up, and you will have the option to check for updates or unframe the page as well if you would like.

A green arrow is visible at the top-left of the screen where the City Name is displayed.

Moving your mouse over the green arrow will display the menu and page shortcuts.

Here is a detailed explination of each menu item:

FBMW Addon Menu: Link your bit.ly URL Shortening account and set program options.

Home Feed Center: Checks the mafia wars live feed continuousy and automatically performs actions you set in the configuration like "Go to War, Give Social Help, Social Missions, Claim Bonus And Reward, Collect Loot, Porperty, Help, Get Boost, Send Energy And Phones."

Marketzone: You can purchase the higher end Items with Victory Coins In one screen.

Gifts Page (Short Links): Performs the same actions as link-a-nator but can use bit.ly for shortening and has more gifts than are normally there and you can send gifts as well.

News Page (AutoHelper): Finds all available actions that are currently available to perfom and who you would like to help from the News Feeds (Top News, Recent News, Combat)

Collect All Cities: You can collect from all your propertes and have it bank at selected cities after you collect.

Battlefield: Works much like brawler does but is more graphical and is easier to use and allows you to post coins and share loot which brawler does not.

Craft Manager: Allows you to build items from your NY propertys like Crafty 'Lil Helper but has a graphical interface and updates with newer items unlike Crafty.

Multi Gifter: You can send multiple gifts to multple people at once and is much easier to navigate than the MW Gifter.

Crime Spree: You can get the shortlink for your Crime Spree or Post a request for people to send you a crime spree and also go to your Crime Spree Page.

Promotion: Options to get the promote me link and post a Promotion Comment to your profile.

Mafia Wiper: Searches through all your current Mafia Members to see who isn't your friend and allows you to veiw their facebook page, delete them individually, or delete all who arent your friend anymore.

Go Atlantic City: You can play the mobile game in a pop-up that is normally restricted to mobile phone usage and play atlantic city and collect a daily bonus as well.

Fighting Other Mafia - 101 Incredible Mafia Wars Tips

How can you know if you will win a fight? You won’t know for sure until you try but there are some things you can do to investigate your opponent.

1. Mafia Size
   OK, this one is kind of a no-brainer but I thought I should toss it in. If your enemy has a smaller mafia than you do you have a better chance of winning, if it’s larger you will probably lose.
   
2. Check the win/loss record.
   If a player has fought a total of 122 fights and lost 80 it basically means that they are on the losing end 67% of the time and should be fairly easy. On the other hand if they have fought 122 fights and lost only 22 they have a winning percentage of 82% and would make a hard target.
   
3. Take a look at Deaths versus mobsters whacked. It’s a good bet that if a player has significantly more kills than deaths they could very well be bad news for you.
    
4. Another indicator is successful heists and times robbed. If the person has never robbed anyone and been beaten up regularly they are a mark. If they have a great deal of successful heists but never been robbed…run away.
    
5. To win easy fights find a weak player and attack them repeatedly.
    
6. Weak players are nice but inactive ones are gravy. Check to see if the collectables they have are old, if so chances are they are inactive. People quit the game every day but the game remains active. When you find one of these guys make note of them and you can pluck them like a chicken.

How to Deal With Being on the Hit List
If you are the kind of player who keeps their nose clean and does not attack or rob others and are happy with doing jobs chances are you will never see the Hit List. On the other hand if you are they type that likes to attack others or rob their properties eventually you will either get hit or gang attacked by the buddies of someone you have pissed off.
Here are a few tips to help beef up your defenses and maybe…just maybe survive.

1. Add more mafia. A bigger mafia means more protection.
    
2. Get the best equipment that you can afford. You want to have the best armor for each of your mafia. Since only 501 can help you on any one fight you need to own 501 of the best armor and weapons that you can afford.

Now that you’ve added more mafia members (or already had 500), it’s important that they are fully equipped. You will want one weapon, armor, and vehicle for each person in your mafia. The higher the defense on the items, the better off you will be when defending your self from attacks. Here is a list of the best equipment (weapons, armor, and vehicles both bought from the shop and dropped by jobs) for defense:

   • Gaff Hook – 30 defense – “Pillage a Shipyard” job in the El Jefe tier in Cuba.
   
   Armor
   
   • Guerrilla Squad – 34 defense – “Supply the FRG with Some Extra Muscle” job in the El Padrino tier in Cuba
   
   Vehicles
   
   • Armored State Car – 38 defense – “Storm the Presidential Palace” job in the El Padrino tier in Cuba.
2. • Private Jet – 38 Defense – Dropped from jobs and fights
   
   
   Spend points on Defense

501 mafia and top defensive equipment are not going to be enough if you have put no points into defense. You can get extra points by vaulting collections. As a rule of thumb your defense should be equal to your level for higher survivability. You can use Godfather points to get +4 stat points if needed.
36.) Hit them hard. If you are attacking and are awarded the maximum amount of cash, $100,000 then hit them again.
37.) If robbing is your favorite activity you are most definitely a mobster and along with that distinction will come the inevitable Hit List. Most of the time you can attack people and pretty much get away with it, but hit their properties a bunch of times and you are most likely dead meat.
38.) No matter how big and bad you think you are there is always someone out there somewhere that is just a little bigger and a little more bad.
39.) If it is your goal never to be on the hit list it’s really very easily accomplished.

1. Stick to doing jobs
2. If you DO attack someone do it once and move to another target.
3. NEVER rob properties

Follow those 3 rules and you will most likely never be on the Hit list.

1. The best setup to squeeze the most experience out of jobs for the least amount of energy is the following setup.
   
   • Top Wheelman (level 299+) for an 11% reduction on energy costs.
   • The best Mastermind (level 299+) for an 11% bonus to experience on jobs.
   • A Private Island for which gives a bonus of 5% experience on jobs for being a Master Underboss.Just because you have mastered a tier does not mean you should quit doing jobs there. Mafia Wars has a number of missions that requires the use of consumable goods that can only be looted from mission. You will NOT get everything that you need from mastering a tier. 1. Using energy packs to simply level is a waste of a good energy pack.
   
2. Don’t start using energy packs before level 100. If you are smart and use you head you can reach level 100 very quickly. To make full use of the power of an energy pack you need to have a large amount of energy.
    
3. The best use for energy packs is to do missions that allow you to stock up on consumables such as computer setups, concealable cameras, untraceable cell phones, and the like. You are going to use a large amount of consumable to react then upper levels.
   
   The problem is that most of the missions in which these items can be found are pretty horrible when it comes to experience versus energy usage. Using an energy pack will help a great deal when fishing for consumables.
    
4. When using an energy pack to gather consumable items go into your Top Mafia and demote your Mastermind. This will let you do the jobs many more times since the object when looking for items is not leveling its doing the job over and over.
    
5. Don’t forget to promote your Mastermind when you are done.
    
6. Always do your most expensive and best experience job right before you hit a new level. Use energy right up until you cannot do another job without leveling then pick a big one to give you a jump on next level.
